One of the most experienced and successful property developers in London, Alex is deeply involved in all aspects of the firm. He began his career in investment banking before founding Finchatton, one of the capital’s most high-profile and prolific development firms in 2001. Alex has been responsible for the design, construction and sale of more than two million square feet of real estate across the globe, including residential, hotels and retail. He has an expert knowledge of financing and structuring property transactions, and in 2016 he co-founded CapitalRise, a property lending specialist.
Alex is equally at home creating financial models or discussing bespoke wallcoverings. He finds nothing more satisfying than launching a building that’s taken many years to design and build, and seeing it come to life with the families who will make it their home for years to come.

A fellow of the Institute of chartered accountants having qualified with Deloitte, Matt worked in corporate finance, advising on private equity backed transactions in the UK and Europe, focused on residential and commercial property. He is highly skilled in capital raising and financial engineering, with an impressive track record of optimising capital structures to deliver the highest risk adjusted returns for our properties. Matt worked alongside Alex for ten years at Finchatton as CFO, focusing on the finance and tax structuring of the company’s largest developments, and leading the relationships with key investors and funding partners. Matt also sits on the board of CapitalRise.
For more than 25 years, Charles has been involved in the marketing and strategic positioning of many of the most prestigious developments in prime central London. His areas of expertise include assembling and managing best-in-class marketing, sales and after-sales teams, creating unrivalled customer journeys, and forming global strategies for complex and demanding sales campaigns.
Charles was a Senior Director and Head of International Sales and Consultancy at CBRE, and Partner and head of Prime Development at Knight Frank. Prior to his role at Valouran, he was Sales Director at Finchatton for seven years, where he managed highly successful sales campaigns for over £2 billion of real estate, including Twenty Grosvenor Square serviced by Four Seasons, The Whiteley serviced by Six Senses, and Kingwood, all of which broke sales records.
